Soul Filled Saturday-Journal

Hello faith filled friends,

Last Saturday we read Psalm 106:1 in our Prayer Journal for Women book, added a stencil to our journal and wrote our focus words for 2025 down.

My focus word for this year is actually a phrase: “Serve others better by being more focused, thoughtful, intentional, mindful and encouraging.” Do you pick a focus word or phrase for the year? Are you using a journal for your devotions, prayer requests or just to create in?

We transformed a mixed media pad into a journal by adding rice paper, part of a hymn page, a key, ribbon, lace, and scrabble tiles. You can watch the video here for inspiration or on my FaceBook page.

Every Saturday we come together on FB, read our main Bible verse, reflect on it, thank the Lord, share what we want God to teach us and guide us. We talk about the things that are on our hearts, the highlights for the week and make our prayer requests known. We also have a second Bible verse that focuses on prayer and last weeks verse is one of my favorites. 1. Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
